Beautiful, effective and memorable
Mohawk has been making print more beautiful, memorable and effective since 1931. The luxurious touch of an uncoated paper married to the visual delight of design and the stirring scent of ink can create an emotional and physical connection with a communication which simply cannot be achieved or replicated electronically.
In this series of conversations we will introduce you to one of the world’s finest uncoated paper, Mohawk Superfine. We will provide information on availability and how we are making it as easy as possible for you to access this wonderful product. We will also showcase Superfine in application – and illustrate the role of beautiful paper in the production of truly spectacular books.
Axel Scheufelen will introduce Metapaper – the future of real communication… an innovative and service-oriented commercial platform for purchasing paper.
Francis Atterbury will bring Superfine to life through his inspirational introduction to Artisan Books – a physical embodiment of the fundamental role beautiful paper can have on the success of a business.
Mohawk is in the business of communication. For over 80 years Mohawk’s premium paper has enabled organisations to tell their story, build their brand and talk to their customers. Today Mohawk can boast a forward-looking portfolio of traditional and innovative papers for commercial and digital print. Luxurious writing, text and cover papers sit alongside specialist i-Tone* papers and beside an ever-evolving selection of specialist converted papers and non-paper substrates for digital print.
Blending emotion with science, tradition with innovation Mohawk is creating unique solutions and new opportunities for creative, print and corporate customers.
Metapaper is Europe’s first E-Commerce Platform for paper and paper-related print services for agencies and innovative printing houses. Metapaper offers Europe’s first preselected system of white papers, the first printed dummy service and a search engine for agencies to find the best possible print partner for their project. Metapaper went online mid 2012 in Germany and has in the meantime built the capability to deliver its products in nearly all countries within Western Europe.
