De Monsterkamer (Eng: Sample Room) is a physical & digital platform for paper and print. Visit our showroom in Amsterdam for an extensive and updated collection of paper, graphic materials and applications from more than twenty Dutch as well as international companies. We offer consultations for designers and love to answer queries relating to paper and print.
You are welcome to book an appointment for paper advice at our location in Amsterdam. The advice is free. In return, we would like to receive a print sample for our archive when the project is ready. Also read the F.A.Q.
Besides paper and covermaterials, we also show work of creative printers, binders and special finishing techniques such as foil printing, letterpress, laser cutting and screen printing.
Opening hours paper advice

In our new online paper database you can find a selection of paper and cover materials from suppliers who are partners of De Monsterkamer. The search functions allow you to easily find and compare paper options any time and anywhere.
Through the sample service you can request up to 3 A4 samples a day. Unique to the database is that printed samples are linked to the papers, so you get an idea about potential applications.

The Monsterkamer also organizes an activity program to stimulate knowledge sharing and collaboration: company presentations, expert meetings, student visits. Our own magazine on and about paper, Plain Paper, is released at the increasingly popular annual Plain Paper Party.
